You never know when you may need to use your skills and training to save a life of just a random person sitting next to you at 30,000 ft in the air while your P is watching you work. This is was my 3rd flight where I had to jump into Medic Mode and asses and stabilize a passenger. Administered Oxygen at the proper levels based on my assessment while going thru the ABC’s Due to the turbulence and a weak pulse I took my Apple Watch off my wrist and placed it on his wrist to monitor his Heart Beats Per Minute. All while the Captain of the plane was communicating with me on that phone that comes out the wall about if we should turn the plane around or not. I checked his vitals every 7 minutes and wrote them down and passed them off to the paramedics that I had waiting for us as we landed. Come to find out this gentleman is a heart surgeon and reached out to me a week later totally impressed with how calm I was and made him feel like I was a Doctor. Guess what hoodie I was wearing and what patch was on my Go bag
