Never Sit With Your Back Towards The Entrance Door! We have always been taught in Close Protection not to sit with our backs to a Public Place entrance door. When I walked into Starbucks this morning and saw that a uniformed Police Officer was sitting with her back to the entrance door, I knew I had to say something; I figured she was new on the force. So I introduced myself and told her that having her back to the entrance was extremely unwise. Not responding to my question, she looked up at me, listened, and continued drinking her coffee. After collecting my coffee from the counter, I left. As I exited the parking lot, I noticed that she had not moved. My question is, was I wrong for saying something to her?
